Ian Nagy, Cruisin' Cuisine Food Truck Owner
Ian attended the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. He graduated in 2009 from the Culinary Arts programs and then continued on with the Baking & Pastry program, graduating in 2010. Ian did both his culinary and baking and pastry externships in NYC. Ian continued to work in restaurants and catering in NYC and NJ until 2013.
Ian moved to Knoxville, TN in 2013 to be closer to family that moved to TN in 2009. During his time in TN, Ian worked for All Occasion Catering and went to the Tennessee College of Applied Technology for Industrial Electricity. Ian received a certificate as a Certified Electrician Apprentice.
In 2014, Ian was presented with the opportunity to manage a café at a ski resort in Vermont and moved there for two years. Ian enjoys snowboarding and delighted in living and working at a ski resort, so much so that he moved to Golden, CO and continued balancing his passion for snowboarding with working in the culinary world.
Ian moved back to Knoxville in 2017, once again to be close to family. For years, Ian’s dream has been to own his own food truck. With the support of family and friends, his dream became a reality in the spring of 2018!
